Introduction to Estate Planning

The workshop is free to attend, but advance registration is required.

This practical session will introduce the fundamentals of estate planning, including wills, power of attorney, future healthcare decision, and documenting personal wishes. Participants will also learn how charitable giving can be incorporated into an estate plan to create a lasting community impact.

Local professionals Eddie Carter, Lawyer with Coast Mountain Law, and James Sparling, Certified Financial Planner with Vocari Financial Solutions, will provide an accessible introduction to estate planning and the tax benefits of charitable giving.
