Endowment Giving

Thanks to the generous contributions from corporate and individual donors, we are able to offer a range of funds and scholarships that support the arts, health and wellness, recreation, the environment, and education. Donors can choose to contribute to one of these established funds, or set up an endowment fund specific to their personal or business goals.

How Endowment Funds Create Lasting Impact

Squamish is evolving. Community needs shift, new challenges arise, and priorities change.

Endowment funds create stability during times of change by offering a dependable source of funding for charitable work year after year.

An endowment fund is a donation that is invested long-term. The income it generates each year is used to support local programs and community needs through our annual grants program, while the original gift remains intact. Because the original contribution is preserved, this support continues indefinitely.
