The Squamish Community Foundation (SCF) is excited to invite applications for a Director of Fundraising! We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and community-minded professional to join our team. 

At SCF, we believe in the power of philanthropy to strengthen our community. Through grants, partnerships, and leadership, we support local initiatives that improve the quality of life in Squamish. As we look to the future, we are growing our fundraising capacity to ensure we can continue to meet evolving community needs. 

About the Role 

This is a part-time, contract position (~20 hours/week) based in Squamish (work from home). Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Fundraising will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive and integrated fundraising strategy to grow our donor base, enhance community engagement, and build long-term sustainability. 

The Role Will: 

  • Develop and deliver fundraising strategies, including annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, and planned giving 
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors and sponsorship partners 
  • Create new and sustainable revenue streams to advance the Foundation’s long-term vision 
  • Champion SCF’s mission and impact through storytelling, community connections, and strategic outreach 

This role is ideal for a skilled fundraiser who enjoys building meaningful relationships, thinking strategically, and making a tangible impact at the community level.
