The Squamish Community Foundation (SCF) is pleased to present the 2022 Impact Report. This is the first annual report designed to highlight the impact on the community from our donor funds, community partnerships, granting and other programs.

Highlights from the report:

  • Over $30,000 in Endowment Fund distributions were shared with eligible organizations through our Annual Grants program, including two scholarships for post-secondary students.
  • Neighbourhood Small Grants contributed $16,000 in funding to individuals for small-scale projects aimed at enhancing community connectedness and belonging.
  • In 2022 the SCF administered $98,000 in Community Enhancement Grants on behalf of the District of Squamish to organizations providing important services to some of our most vulnerable community members.
  • The SCF hosted the first of two Community Conversations as part of the Vital Signs 2023 research project. Over 50 community members gathered to share insight on important issues like housing and affordability, diversity and inclusion, environment, and reconciliation.

The report also includes information on the various ways to donate to the SCF to create a lasting impact in your community.
