Supporting their mission to make a huge impact in this community, 100 Women Who Care Squamish proudly announces their Endowment Fund in partnership with the Squamish Community Foundation.

This marks a significant milestone for 100 Women Who Care Squamish, aiming to create a perpetual source of funding in the community for non-profits and local charities. The nature of the fund guarantees a timeless impact, ensuring ongoing support for community causes and the opportunity for local women donors to create a lasting legacy.

“SCF is very excited to partner with 100 Women Who Care as they launch their Endowment Fund here in Squamish. They reflect our shared commitment to the well-being of our community and also play an important role in supporting local organizations” – Karen Clarke, Executive Director of Squamish Community Foundation

South Okanagan/Similkameen, Kawartha Lakes and Red Deer Community Foundations are just a few foundations who successfully administer gift giving for their local 100 Women/Men Who Care chapters. An endowment fund will allow 100 Women Who Care Squamish freedom from investment responsibility and gives donors the confidence of knowing that a permanent foundation is in place to professionally administer their donations. 100 Women Who Care members can then concentrate on which non-profit they want to support each year. And best of all, the 100 Women Who Care Endowment Fund carries on in perpetuity and keeps giving to local causes forever. If anything changes for 100 Women Who Care, the Fund will be set-up for annual distributions to support the cause or organization of 100 Women Who Care’s choosing in perpetuity, leaving a forever impact in this community.

“Creating a 100 Women Who Care Squamish endowment fund with the Squamish Community Foundation means our chapter’s donations will benefit our community more than ever before. The interest accrued from our fund will help our local not-for-profits continue to do the incredible work they do for Squamish in perpetuity, creating a lasting legacy for both current and future residents.” – Catherine Trueman, 100 Women Who care Squamish Chapter Founder

100 Women Who Care Squamish is a volunteer group of women from the Squamish area who care about our community and want to make a difference. Members meet once per quarter to hear from three LOCAL charities about their current projects, then we vote for whichever charity we feel has the greatest current financial need. The charity with the most votes receives a $100 donation from each member to further their initiatives. 100 Women x 100 Dollars= $10,000! That is a total of $40,000 a year and the distributions from the endowment fund will take place at one of the quarters each year. What a HUGE impact for the betterment of our amazing community. New members are always welcome! For more information visit https://100womensquamish.com/.
